Effective learning and development are about acquiring and adopting new capabilities & behaviors, and implementing them. This is what we do at Actando.

Over the past 7 years our approach has been used extensively in the healthcare industry to deliver improved performance as well as mindset and behavioural change. Over these years, we have worked with and delivered learning solutions to more than 100 Pharmaceutical & Healthcare companies and trained over 1,000 Senior Managers, 3,000 Product Managers, 10,000 First Line Managers & 60,000 Representatives around the world.

 

How often do we experience training and development initiatives that do not achieve this adoption of new skills and behaviours? It is a fact that many of these training interventions fail to deliver the outcomes that had been hoped for – why is this? Put quite simply, it is because mindsets have not changed.

People only change behaviours when their beliefs change, and in order to impact behaviours we must first change people’s mindsets. Human beings tend to resist change and that is why any learning intervention must be able to effectively change mindsets in order to facilitate a change in behaviour. It is not enough to teach people new theories; you also need to change their mindsets so they can adopt these new skills away from the classroom…

Alexandre Dauge

CEO - Actando HQ


Alexandre is responsible for the global strategy and product development at Actando HQ.

With Actando consultants and software developers he designs and delivers new learning and development solutions in the healthcare industry. Before joining Actando, Alexandre was Practice Leader at IMS Health Europe. His core expertise is designing serious games/simulations in marketing and sales. His experience includes working with pharmaceutical companies in many major markets.

Alexandre graduated from the University of Paris, where he also holds a PhD in Medicine. He furthermore holds an MBA from HEC. Alexandre lives in Switzerland.

Yann Bidoli

IT Director - Actando HQ


As the IT Director of Actando, Yann is in charge of the PharmAcademy’s architecture and development (Actando’s Learning Platform), the development of new Serious Games and the creation of Innovative Online Tools.

In his previous job, Yann was leading the team responsible for the development of Simulations and Serious Games in IMS Health. Yann has an over 10 years experience in IT Development and the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Jesus Cordero

Managing Partner – Actando Iberia


His extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry includes founding and running CALIDAD RECURSOS HUMANOS for over 20 years. Calidad de Recursos Humanos is a leading training company in Spain.Jesus holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and a Masters in educational technology. He began his career in the pharmaceutical industry working at Compañía Española de la Penicilina y Antibioticos (CEPA) were he held several job positions in the Sales area. He developed the training department of CEPA and after six years, left to pick up the position of Training Manager at Glaxo. At Glaxo he held several positions including General Manager of Training, Development and Human Resources.He is also an experienced official IMS training partner and throughout the years Jesus has provided learning and change management solutions to most of the leading pharma companies in Spain and Latin America.

Florence Errard

Managing Partner – Actando France


With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Florence has worked in Sales job positions in a number of companies including Marion Merrell Dow, Astra Zeneca, Parke Davis and IMS Health. During her career, she developed specific competencies in the retail and hospital environments, as well as having responsibility for implementing new promotion and communication tools in the field. She spent the last 8 years in IMS Health where she gained strong expertise in sales and marketing operational management, as well as developing new e-training techniques and approaches.Her detailed knowledge and understanding of the French healthcare environment and its stakeholders means Florence is your preferred partner for business in the French and North African markets.

Matthieu Faupel

Matthieu is a Principal at Actando SA in charge of Assessment Tools, Serious Games and eLearnings’ development.Matthieu has over 14 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in diverse functions such as Marketing, Sales, Learning and Development Solutions. His consulting expertise together with his IT background allows him to manage customized projects for our clients. Matthieu also earned a strong experience in delivering Learning and Development Programmes worldwide.Regarding his IT background, Matthieu has the following capabilities: Web Application Development, iPad Application Development, Twitter Bootstrap, Web Design, Databases, UML, Rapid Prototyping, Instructional Designer, Learning Authoring Tools, Learning Management System, Serious Games, Simulations, Project Management, Change Management, CRM, SFE, Business Intelligence, Social Media and User Experience.

Pedro Pablo Gomez

Managing Partner - Actando Latin America


Pedro has 28 years of experience working within the pharmaceutical industry in Latin-America. He started his career working as a Key Account Manager at IMS Health in Chile, and swiftly rose to become Client Services Manager within the Chilean subsidy before moving to Mexico as Consulting Services Manager at country scale. During his tenure, Pedro developed multiple tools for quantifying and measuring the market, as well as directing key projects around portfolio analysis & optimization, sales force alignement and market access across Latin America.In 2005, Pedro took the opportunity to join IMS’ Training Division in Mexico, and was responsible for developing and delivering training courses on Business Planning, Communication Skills, Tactical Marketing and Strategic Marketing in Northern Latin America. Pedro joined the Actando team in 2013 as the Mexican office manager and covers the whole Latin American region. In addition to being a qualified statistics teacher, Pedro also holds a State Diploma in Sociology

David Reynal

Managing Partner – Actando Russia


David has an over 13 years experience in the healthcare industry with more than 7 years exposure to the Russian Market.Before joining Actando, he worked for IMS Health in Russia where he was in charge of learning solutions and consulting projects focusing on Commercial Effectiveness, Product Portfolio Strategy and Pricing & Market Access. Before this, David worked for Anakena Healthcare Consulting, a management consulting company specialized in the Russian healthcare sector as Managing Director and Director of Department Strategy. In these positions, he led and managed engagements for large multinational and local pharmaceutical companies, developing extensive expertise on the Russian pharmaceutical market. David’s tasks have ranged from strategy development, recommendations on portfolio optimization and stakeholder analysis to product & market access (reimbursement programs, local manufacturing, and acquisitions) research, assessment and introduction to stakeholders, and tactical on-the- field commercial initiatives.David’s academic background includes an MBA from ESCP Europe Business School and a BSc and MSc in biomedical engineering. He is fluent in English, French and Russian.

Louis Bi

Managing Partner - Actando China


Louis is responsible for Actando consulting and training business development and delivery in China. He has about 20 years long experience in the pharmaceutical industry.Louis used to work in hospital, pharmaceutical, market research and consulting industries. He has worked in both local and MNC companies like Livzon, Sanofi, Merck Serono, Servier, Diichi Sankyo, CSD and IMS from specialist to sales and marketing manager. Louis has a strong experience in many therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular, oncology, antibiotics, anti-asthma, enteral nutrition, alimentary diseases, etc. He also has a solid experience in brand management, new product launch, product portfolio management, sales management, data analysis, etc.Louis graduated from medical college majoring in clinical medicine in 1989 and worked as a MD for many years before joining the pharmaceutical industry.

Ahmed Nour El Alaoui

After graduating in medicine, Dr. Nour El Alaoui joined the pharmaceutical industry where he held several positions in different structures. He has managed different departments such as medical, marketing and sales effectiveness. During his professional career, Dr. Nour El Alaoui also studied management and holds an MBA from HECI business school, Canada. Through his career he has accumulated 20 years of experience where he has carried out strategic projects such as forecasting-market studies, segmentation, resource optimization .... Today, he is managing partner and consultant for Actando Maghreb and NFWA. Dr. Nour El Alaoui’s main areas of expertise are:

Mounir Benabbou

Managing Partner - Actando North & West Africa


Twenty-five years of experience in the pharmaceutical field and in the management of various key players in the health and pharmaceutical environment. As a graduate of ESCP Europe-MBA, Mounir was able to set up Morocco-West Africa IMS Health subsidiaries, as well as developing strategies and relationships with data providers and customers. Through his professional career, Mounir has carried out strategic projects within the region, and has been able to launch new solutions related to HR management and operations. Today, Mounir is a managing partner and consultant for Actando Maghreb and NFWA. His areas of expertise are mainly:
